CIT Dental Lab’s all-ceramic restorations give dental practices across the Eastern United States metal-free crown and veneer solutions that combine clinical durability with natural esthetics. Whether you’re restoring a high-load posterior molar with monolithic zirconia, crafting a lifelike anterior crown with ultra-translucent zirconia, or pressing an eMax veneer for a smile transformation, CIT delivers precise marginal fit, accurate shade matching, and consistent results with free 2-way shipping and an 8-day in-lab turnaround on every case.
All-ceramic restorations eliminate the dark metal margin that can appear at the gumline with PFM crowns particularly as gingival tissue recedes over time. They offer superior light transmission that genuinely mimics the optical depth of natural enamel. They’re fully biocompatible, making them ideal for patients with metal sensitivities. And for anterior cases in the esthetic zone, all-ceramic simply looks better. CIT fabricates all-ceramic restorations from premium-grade zirconia and ceramic materials that meet the clinical demands of both anterior and posterior indications.
Every CIT all-ceramic crown and veneer is shade-matched and finished by experienced dental technicians — not automated processing alone. We reference VITA Classical and VITA 3D-Master shade guides, and we can work from shade photos, custom instructions, or detailed characterization requests. Our layered zirconia and eMax cases receive hand-applied surface stain and glaze, incisal halo effects, and texture detail that distinguish natural-looking restorations from flat, generic ones.
Lab Products
The Full All-Ceramic Material Spectrum
Full-Contour Zirconia
1,000–1,200+ MPa; monolithic; no chipping risk; ideal for posterior bruxer cases.
Ultra-Translucent Zirconia
~600–800 MPa; elevated translucency; the esthetic zirconia choice for anterior crowns.
~400 MPa; pressable; superior light transmission; ideal for veneers, inlays, onlays, anterior crowns.
Porcelain Veneers
Feldspathic and pressed ceramic; as thin as 0.3mm; conservative smile corrections.
All Major Intraoral Scanners Accepted
CIT accepts digital scan files for all-ceramic fabrication from 3Shape Trios, iTero, Primescan, Medit i500, Carestream, Dexis IS, Ori, and NeoScan. Submit your scan and your case enters production immediately — no impression shipping delay. Faster scans mean faster restorations.

Full-contour zirconia prioritizes strength flexural strength of 1,000–1,200+ MPa making it the best choice for posterior cases, bruxers, and high-load situations. Ultra-translucent zirconia trades some strength (~600–800 MPa) for significantly higher light transmission and translucency, making it look far more like a natural tooth. Use full-contour zirconia posteriorly for durability; use ultra-translucent zirconia anteriorly for esthetics.
Choose lithium disilicate (eMax) when maximum translucency is the priority particularly for thin veneers (under 0.5mm), inlays, onlays, and anterior crowns where the pressed ceramic's superior optical depth produces the most natural result. Zirconia offers greater strength but less translucency. For anterior cases with parafunctional risk, ultra-translucent zirconia may be preferred over eMax for added durability.
Yes. Submit digital shade photos with your case for custom matching reference. Include photos of the prepared tooth and adjacent natural teeth in natural lighting for best results. Our technicians use the photos alongside your written shade prescription to build characterization and translucency into the restoration.
Yes. CIT can fabricate all all-ceramic restorations — zirconia crowns, eMax, and veneers — directly from digital scan files submitted via any major intraoral scanner platform. Digital cases start production immediately upon file receipt.
