Porcelain Veneers
Ultra-Thin, Hand-Crafted, Smile-Changing

CIT Dental Lab fabricates custom porcelain veneers for dental practices across the Eastern United States who want to give their patients the smile they’ve always wanted conservatively, beautifully, and durably. Our veneers are pressed or hand-layered from lithium disilicate and feldspathic porcelain: the two materials best suited to replicating the optical depth, translucency, and surface texture of natural enamel at ultra-thin dimensions. Conservative on the tooth. Transformative for the patient. Precise in fabrication. Free 2-way shipping. 8-day in-lab turnaround.

Description

Conservative Preparation. Maximum Transformation.

Unlike a full crown, a veneer requires only a fraction of the tooth reduction preserving most of the natural enamel structure while completely transforming the tooth’s visible appearance. CIT fabricates veneers as thin as 0.3–0.5mm, allowing minimal preparation designs that keep teeth as intact as possible while delivering the esthetic change your patient is looking for. Less removal. More impact. Better long-term outcome.

Frequently Asked Questions

A pressed (lithium disilicate) veneer is formed under heat and pressure from a ceramic ingot, producing a consistent, void-free structure with excellent translucency. A layered feldspathic veneer is built up by hand in multiple layers of porcelain allowing the most individualized artistic characterization but requiring greater skill and time. For most veneer cases, pressed lithium disilicate is the standard of care. For highly complex shade matching or maximum artistry, hand-layered feldspathic veneers are the premium option.
CIT handles veneer cases of any size from a single unit correction to full 10-unit or 12-unit smile makeovers. Larger smile makeover cases benefit from detailed shade photographs, a diagnostic wax-up, and clear written notes about the patient's esthetic goals.
For single-unit corrections, a wax-up may not be necessary. For multi-unit smile makeovers or cases involving changes to tooth length, shape, or vertical dimension, a diagnostic wax-up is strongly recommended before veneer preparation. CIT can fabricate diagnostic wax-ups see our Diagnostic Wax-Ups page for details.
